WOW !

Well with the work load going strong, looks like we've missed a few months of catch up.
The good news is that we are all OK,and have had lots of drama. Birthdays, wedding anniversary's,and family visiting. New lot of chocks, with some rosters and very little or few hens.

Well !Travelled to the city today, 4.30am start that I hit the road trying to bet the traffic over the harbour bridge, which will take me to Mt Albert, to further my skills in, as senior caregiver for the Rest Home that i work for in the small town that I live in.
You are always issued a Certificate of attendance at the end of the course, which in this case was on Medication Administration for Caregivers. Around a 3hour course with tea and coffee and biscuit's half way through.

Diabetes & Wound Management

Auckland came round to quickly last week, was up at 04.30hrs to get ready to go to Auckland, with 2 other colleagues from work. Our course on Diabetes & wound management, lower leg ulcer, gout, skin tears & skin grafts. It rained all the way down and cold, storms were imminent and a threat to our farmers, with high winds and floods and even power lose.
The course took 5hrs with morning tea and a lite lunch supplied, was uneatable so this was and all day trip and long one at that. The course itself was what we were already doing but in some cases, and to know that there was more to learn which was great, hoping that we are able to do a follow up on whats yet to come.
